Lovely Poem!!

Palanquin Bearers

Lightly, O lightly we bear her along,
She sways like a flower in the wind of our song;
She skims like a bird on the foam of a stream,
She floats like a laugh from the lips of a dream.
Gaily, O gaily we glide and we sing,
We bear her along like a pearl on a string.

Softly, O softly we bear her along,
She hangs like a star in the dew of our song;
She springs like a beam on the brow of the tide,
She falls like a tear from the eyes of a bride.
Lightly, O lightly we glide and we sing,
We bear her along like a pearl on a string.

Splendid song I have ever heard..

WINTER TIPS!!

Winter seems to be extremely high in Hyderabad this year. "Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle All The Way!”. It's my favorite season of the year. I eagerly wait for this season to come every time..

This season seems like it goes too fast and it has more events going on during it than any other season of the year. The snow and the cold make up the unpredictable winter weather. Every morning is a new surprise because you don't know what the weather will be like. I love that feeling because the same thing doesn't happen every day. When I was a child my cousins and I used to bring some wooden sticks,bind them together and set on fire during Sankranthi(Bhoghi Mantaalu).A bonfire of wood and cattle dung along with woodensticks is lit after sunset and we all gather around to celebrate. I dreamt to do this in the timber mantels likewise in Maniratnam movies. I will never forget “Kausalya Supraja rama”!!! suprabhatham in the early morning,Bhoghi mantaalu during Sankranthi,Snuggling under the blankets,PONDS COLD CREAM(Gogli!mogli!mosh),Spicy Hot Hot Khana….. Nostalgic!!   Winter is the best season. These all seem to come to my mind whenever I think of winter...

Winter is undoubtedly one of the most awaited seasons of the year! And well, who doesn’t love to snuggle under the soft warm blankets! Here’s what we think are a few easy and best ways to enjoy the season.

1** Keep your skins hydrated…….Drink a lot of water and avoid soda and alcohol.
2** Apply oil-based moisturizers with vitamins C and E which keeps skin hydrated than  water based products.
3** There are people who love to enjoy sun during winter but little do they know that exposure to the sun can hasten ageing. As our beauticians & many beauty products suggest us, one must use a sunscreen 15 minutes before going out in order to allow the skin to absorb it.
4** Use a cleanser containing aloe vera, turmeric and lemon. Aloe vera has the power to restore moisture and has potent healing properties.
5** Heal those cracked heels by soaking your feet in warm water at night for 15 minutes. Scrub with a pumice stone,apply a moisturizer and cover those with socks by leaving it overnight.
6** For hair, heat pure coconut oil and apply on scalp and hair ends. Wrap a hot towel and let it stay for some time. Next morning, wash your hair with a shampoo.
7** Lemon juice has soothing effect on hands. Mix some lemon juice,sugar to scrub the hands. Massage cream on the hands soon after bathing and washing clothes.
8** The hotter your water, the drier your skin! !!Always keep shower and bath water not tooooo hot!!!!!!!!!!!
9** Olive oil is one of the most sought after natural oils for skin care especially during Winters. It is a Skin Exfoliator.To use Olive Oil on the skin & body wash your face with water thoroughly & apply a layer of olive oil moisturizer on your face just before you go to sleep. I use olive oil by massaging all over the body, face scrub lightly with besan and wash it with Luke warm water.
***Protect your skin from the cold air with clothing like Coats, Jackets, Boots, Pullovers, Scarves, and Stoles etc….

Thankyou for your time
